New Fitness Trend in Hollywood: Drumstick Physical Fitness!

While physical fitness scene in the last few years has been dominated by Yoga and New Age ideas, a new physical fitness trend has taken Hollywood by storm. Drumstick physical fitness was devised by Christina Pereenboom and Kirsten Potenza; they took elements from Pilates, boot camp and kettlebells to come up with this new form of exercise.
Drumstick fitness training employs a heavy or wooden drumstick, and the participants smash the ground in front of them to the beats of hard rock or hip-hop song playing in the background. It is touted as a more fun alternative to other fitness training that are seen as too rigid. The instructors claim that the drumstick movement affects the core muscles of the body and helps build physical fitness.
